Reservations

Hotel accommodation can be reserved in Port Elizabeth through the intermediary of Turners DMC who have secured preferred rates for all participants. All hotel accommodation rates quoted are in South African Rands and are per room and per night, breakfast and service taxes included. The hotel category should be indicated on the hotel booking form. Please also indicate which other category we should book in case the chosen one is fully booked. Please note most of the hotels are within proximity to either Kings Beach or Newton Park Pool.

Confirmation of Hotel Reservations

All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.

Group Booking

All hotel reservations will be confirmed to you in writing with the name of the hotel, the type of accommodation booked, the arrival and departure dates, the rate, and the deposit required. This will be accompanied by an invoice and request for payment.

Book Now

Payments

Full payment is required to finalise individual and your hotel reservation. A 10% deposit is required upon receipt of first invoice, remaining 40% deposit required by 01 August 2026.  The final 50% deposit must be paid by 15^th October 2026.

Payments can be processed either by bank electronic bank transfer or by MasterCard, Visa & American Express credit card. Bank account details will appear on the bottom of the invoice. For credit card payments, you will be emailed a 3D secure credit card payment link. All incidental charges to be settled upon departure from the hotel.

For all group bookings (10 rooms or more), a 10% deposit is required upon receipt of first invoice, remaining 40% deposit required by 01 August 2026.  The final 50% deposit must be paid by 15^th October 2026.

The group are required to settle all incidental charges upon departure from the hotel.

Transport

Participant bus transportation will be available to participants who booked through Turners and within the allocated transport schedule.

Turners can assist with booking a daily return shuttle from hotels to Kings Beach and Newton Park Pool. Please send email to Deveena Naicker: deveena@tcon.org.za.

Terms & Conditions

All cancellations must be submitted to Turners DMC in writing. Verbal cancellations will not be accepted or deemed valid.
The non-refundable deposit of fifty percent (50%) will be forfeited in respect of all cancellations received between 01 August 2026 and 15 October 2026.

For cancellations received after 15 October 2026, the following cancellation penalties shall apply:

• One hundred percent (100%) cancellation fees shall apply, and no refund will be issued.

An amendment fee of ZAR 115.00 applies to all changes made to confirmed reservations after 01^st November 2026.

Should you reduce the length of your stay upon arrival at the hotel, the hotel will charge cancellation fees for the nights that you will no longer be using.
