Newton Park Swimming Pool

The Newton Park Swimming Pool (Mandela Bay Aquatic Centre) is a 50 m, Olympic-size indoor, heated facility (typically 25-28 °C), ideal for consistent stillwater competition. The complex includes a covered grandstand and a separate warm-up area, and it regularly hosts elite meets – most recently the 2025 SA National Swimming Championships – with upgrades made to starting blocks to meet World Aquatics/FINA standards.
